Top care tips for your Screwpull: 1. Identifying wear - Signs of wear may be apparent after opening approximately 2000 bottles and it is possible to replace the screw if the Teflon coating on the bottom of the spiral is worn and the screw is not extracting the cork every time.
2. Replacing screw on Lever models - Remove the screw by unscrewing the protective head. Replace with new screw and re-attach protective head.
3. Replacement screw - Email us at store@macphees.com.au for details on ordering new screws.
4. Removing corks - Screwpull Level and Table models are best suited to removing natural corks. The Table model is particularly well suited to removing vintage red wine corks due its extra long Teflon coated screw.
5. Ongoing maintenance and care - Over time wine deposits may naturally build up on the corkscrew. To keep the screw in pristine condition, wash gently in warm soapy water from time to time. Don't ever use lubricants on a Screwpull corkscrew. View other products in the Screwpull range
