Intimate Wine Bar La Rue with Cellar

Housed in the original stock exchange of Melbourne, this heritage listed space has been transformed to provide memorable dining experiences in the elegant restaurant and cocktail bar. Reine and La Rue won Hospitality Design from the Australian Interior Design Awards. Akin Atelier successfully created an experience of duality between the grand and the intimate.

La Rue, the intimate 8-seater bar that sits off the courtyard of Reine, is a gorgeous, moody space where you can enjoy a glass of wine next to the climate controlled custom-built wine cellar. The use of concrete and black metal finishes gives the cellar a modern look that blends seamlessly into the small cocktail bar.

Indi wine racking was chosen to create unique, industrial look and each bottle of wine is showcased in individual pockets. This is a great option for hospitality venues, as you can label wine bottles and locate them quickly.
