“The 2020 Bourgogne Rouge is a one-third blend of Hautes-Cotes, Puligny and Maranges-based parcels. It offers vivid red cherry and cranberry scents on the nose. The palate is quite crunchy in texture, in a positive way, and well balanced with a fine bead of acidity. Touches of orange zest appear towards the finish. Very promising.”
